Each patient's orthodontic condition requires a treatment plan based on a specialized diagnosis of the case. After diagnostic records (x-rays, photos and dental impressions) are taken, Dr. Morrell will present his findings and offer you one treatment plan or the option to consider alternative treatment plans. One new alternative treatment option to conventional braces is the new and exciting Invisalign® "braceless" technology. Dr. Morrell is certified in the treatment of prospective Invisalign® patients. Even conventional braces are not so conventional these days. We offer clear, silver, gold, and even nickel-free braces.

Metal Braces Metal braces are the most common. They are made of high grade stainless steel. Today's braces are much smaller and more comfortable. Therefore they are much more attractive. Most of the patients like to dress up the braces with different color elastics that can be changed at each appointment. Multiple colors are available.
Ceramic Braces Ceramic braces are a translucent tooth colored (clear) material. They are most popular with the adult patients. They are difficult to see on the teeth unless you are very close to the patient. The only draw back to the bracket is that they are more fragile and the elastic ties can discolor between orthodontic visits.
Gold Braces Gold braces are a recent addition to our line of brackets. They are actually stainless steel braces coated with 24 karat gold. They have been very popular with patients of any age.
Invisalign (No Braces) A new system available for adults for orthodontic correction of some bite problems. The Invisalign System is a series of clear overlay templates that have been generated by computer simulation to gradually move the teeth.
